Screen recordings from an iPhone are HEVC in an MP4 or MOV. The page decodes them with WebCodecs where the browser supports it, and falls back to normal video playback where it does not.

How do I polish an iPhone screen recording?
Record with the built in iOS screen recorder, then drop the file on this page. Put the recording in a phone frame on a background, cover the status bar so the clock and the battery do not date the clip, add a zoom at each tap so viewers can see what you pressed, and export an MP4. Everything runs in the browser.
Can I add zoom to an iPhone screen recording?
Yes. Press "Tap to zoom" and click the spot on the preview you want the camera to move to, and a zoom block appears on the timeline with a level and a hold length you can change. "Suggest zooms" finds the moments where a small part of the screen reacts, which is usually a tap, and proposes a zoom for each one. Keep the ones you like and delete the rest.
Can I put an iPhone frame around a screen recording?
Yes. The page draws a phone body with rounded corners, a rail, and the Dynamic Island around your recording. It is drawn in code rather than a photo, so it scales cleanly to 4K, and both the frame and the island can be switched off.
Is my recording uploaded anywhere?
No. There is no server involved. The file is read, decoded, rendered and encoded by your browser, and the finished MP4 is created in memory on your machine. Close the tab and nothing is left behind.
Why does it not work in Firefox?
iPhone screen recordings use the HEVC codec, and Firefox does not decode HEVC. Chrome, Edge and Safari do. If your file is a plain H.264 MP4 or a WebM, Firefox will open it, but the MP4 export needs the WebCodecs encoder, which Firefox is still adding.
What about the audio?
If the recording has sound, the page decodes it, applies your trim and speed, re-encodes it to AAC and muxes it into the MP4. If the browser cannot re-encode audio the export continues without it and says so.
How do I blur something private?
Press "Draw a cover up" above the preview and drag a box over the part you want gone. Choose blur or a solid block out, and give the box a time range if it only needs to be covered for part of the clip.
What is the difference from the Framok app?
This page edits a recording you already made. Framok for Windows makes the recording in the first place, and because it logs every click and cursor move while it records, it can place the zooms, follow the cursor and redraw the pointer without you marking anything up.
