Framok (the app) is a desktop screen recorder for Windows. It is built so that your recordings never leave your computer.

What the app collects

Recordings and tracking data. Video, audio, cursor positions, cursor shape, clicks, scroll and the timing of key presses (never which key) are captured while you record and saved to a folder inside your Videos directory. This data stays on your computer and is only used to render your video. Delete a recording folder and it is gone.
Settings. Editor settings are stored next to each recording.

What the app sends

Nothing during recording, editing or export. There is no account, no login and no cloud storage.
An optional update check may contact our download server with your app version. It sends no recording data.

Website

This website is hosted on Vercel, which keeps standard server logs (IP address, user agent, requested page) for a short period to operate the service. We do not run advertising or tracking pixels on this site. If we add privacy-friendly analytics we will list it here.

Payments

When paid licenses launch, payment is handled by a third-party merchant of record who processes your card and issues the receipt. We receive your email address and license status, and use them only to deliver and support your license.

Your rights

Because we hold almost nothing about you, most requests are answered by deleting the local recording folder. For anything else, including access or deletion of license records, email DM @dylan_builds on X.
